'The Flash' Season 3 Takes On Gorilla City In Two-Part Episode

There have currently been new updates revealed on what is in store for "The Flash" season three. Apparently, the writers will be covering a story with Grodd, the experimental gorilla that was initially introduced during the first season.

Grodd, as it can be recalled, was initially introduced during the first season of "The Flash" as a gorilla experimented on by General Wade Eiling and Dr. Harrison Wells. They were trying to develop mind control. When it was discovered by Dr. Wells that General Eiling was going to use the experiment for the army, the former shut down the experiment.

During the second season of "The Flash," it was revealed that Grodd was thrown into a Gorilla City in Earth Two. Recently, Collider reported that producer Andrew Kreisberg confirmed that Grodd will be returning to the show for the third season.

They will be writing a storyline that will involve "The Flash" getting into Gorilla City. It has also been confirmed that the story of Grodd will be covered in two episodes. According to Screen Rant, in the comics, Grodd murdered the current king in Gorilla City and Flash discovered the city just before Grodd could take over the world.

Since the writers didn't follow the original storyline fot Grodd's origins, it is likely that they will be creating a different plot on how Grodd will be coming back to the story. However, it has already been confirmed that the story will present Gorilla City once more,

Other than Grodd's return, more bad villains have also been confirmed to be part of the third season of "The Flash." Two main villains of the season have already been confirmed, Dr. Alchemy and another speedster, Savitar. It hasn't been confirmed yet how they will be entering the series.

"The Flash" season three will premiere on October 4, on CW.
