Samsung Galaxy S3 Is Up For Pre-Sales Order On AT&T, Sprint And Verizon

Three major US carriers, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, have opened the pre-orders for Samsung's Galaxy S3. And, they are right on schedule!

All three carriers offer the 16GB model of the Galaxy S3 at $199.99 with a new two-year agreement. Verizon and Sprint will also sell the 32GB variant for $249.99 on contract.

While AT&T has confirmed to start shipping the new smartphone on June 18, Sprint has announced June 21 as its possible date for starting off shipment. But, the Verizon pre-order page shows that all the four models displayed on the page will ship only by July 9.

The decision for delayed launch of the phone on its carrier can prove to be wrong for Verizon. AT&T and Sprint can beat America's largest 4G LTE network provider as they are releasing the phone at least two weeks before, experts believe.

The US model of Galaxy S3 packs in Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset with 1.5 GHz dual-core processor that will provide LTE support. But, the Sprint users should keep in mind that the network is yet to launch its 4G support.

Among other features, the stunning 4.8-inch Galaxy S3 sports Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that comes with HD 720 x 1280 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 display protection, 8-megapixel main camera with LED and autofocus, 1.7 MP secondary camera, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video, 2GB of RAM in North America, Google's latest Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, TouchWiz 4.0 UI/Nature UX, Human Interaction features like S-Beam, Smart Stay, S Voice, Direct Call and Smart Alert and more.
