Fans of "Naruto Shippuden" have already been expecting the death of Obito in the upcoming episode 472 of the series, as that was how it was played out in the manga. However, could there be a possibility that the writer could spare the life of Obito in the series?
Obito's ultimate sacrifice for his friends
As a recap on the last episode 472 of "Naruto Shippuden," Sakura and Obito managed to help Sasuke return to the dimension where Kaguya was in a battle with Naruto and despite the obstacles, the heroes were able to work it out.
The episode ended with a cliffhanger where Obito was hit with a rod by Kaguya. He was able to save Kakashi but he was not able to escape the rod coming his way, according to Ecumenical News. It has been reported that this scene was very well portrayed, as opposed to the scene's depiction in the manga series.
However, in the manga series of "Naruto Shippuden," Obito dies on that scene which was considered one of the most heartbreaking moments of the story. When the episode ended with that scene, the fans were in dismay but are hopeful that the writers may take a different turn on how the storyline will go about after that scene.
Could Obito's life still be spared after sacrifice?
There has been history of the show extending their storylines from that of the manga series and this episode might not be any different. In line with this, there could be a possibility that more of Obito could be seen on the series. However, there are still unending speculations that this is already Obito's demise. Some believe that there is no way Obito could be saved from that fatal wound, as reported by Game and Guide.
The spoilers for the upcoming episode 472 of "Naruto Shippuden" have remained uncertain, there are still fans of the heroes that believe Obito could still be coming back for the coming episodes.
