'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 55: Omni-King Finally Meets Goku

After quite a long wait due to the delay because of the Rio Olympics, episode 55 of Dragon Ball Super" has finally aired on television and the worries of many have been put to rest. It has been very much speculated that Goku being summoned by Omni-King will lead to disaster, however, proven untrue by the recent episode.

Omni-King is well known for being the big boss of all 12 universes in "Dragon Ball Super" and has been considered the most powerful character in the animated series. When it was known that he wanted to meet Goku, Whis and Beerus were worried that it might be a disastrous encounter, and have universe 7 destroyed.

Omni-King Summons Son Goku Only Wanting To Be His Friend

Contrary to their beliefs and that of many, Omni-King and Goku's encounter is not horrible at all. According to Attack of the Fanboy, Omni-Kin was simply looking for a friend to play with. He did not summon Goku for reasons that any of them should be worried about. As a matter of fact, Goku was given a button that will allow Omni-King to visit him on earth anytime.

Omni-King referred to Goku as Son Goku, but the latter says he prefers to be called Goku. He then calls Omni-King Zen-Chan, which worries the others but Omni-King simply laughs it off. Goku tells him that he still has things to do, but promises to return and to bring a friend that they can play with as well.

Kaioshin And The God Of Destruction

Prior to meeting with the Omni-King, Beerus initially warned Goku not to mention anything about Black Goku and he assures Kaioshin's safety, which surprises Goku. It is then later explained that a Kaioshin and a God of Destruction are linked to each other. Goku then realizes that if he kills Kaioshin, that will also mean the death of Beerus and he doesn't want that to happen.

Meanwhile, Black Goku's transformation into Super Saiyan Rose is expected in Episode 56.
