'The Walking Dead' Season 7: 3 Major Characters That Made It Out Of Negan's List, ALIVE!

It was a major cliff-hanger! Season six finale left avid viewers wanting for more. With anticipation and speculation building up, fans are dying to know who gets to experience the wrath of Negan's bat, Lucille.

Looking back on the breath-taking season six finale last April, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the group was held captured by the terrifying Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Carl, Daryl, Michonne, Glenn, Sasha, Abraham, Eugene, Rosita and Maggie - who is pregnant by the way - are among those who were captured. One of them is definitely going to face a tragic death soon. Who is it going to be?

Based on Digital Spy's poll, majority of its reader voted Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) as the most likely candidates to be Negan's first victim. It's only a matter of time before we find out. After all, Jeffrey Dean Morgan confirmed back in April that "season seven's going to pick up right where (we) left off" and that there will be no time jump.

On the other hand, Daily Mail Online revealed that three of the main casts of the series can be crossed off the list of potential victims as they were seen filming together in Atlanta.

New photos surfaced online might confirm that Rick, Aaron and Michonne are alive and well as the trio were seen filming for season seven. Also spotted with the group was Tara (Alanna Masterson) who was not among the potential victims of Negan. It can be recalled that Tara made a run with Heath during the Hilltop incident and her whereabouts remained unknown for the rest of the season. Does this suggest that the four crossed path somewhere along the way?

And while many speculated that Glenn will be Negan's victim just like in the comics, actor Steven Yeun who portrays the fan favourite character was seen driving to the set in May. Also spotted going to the set was Norman Reedus who plays the role of Daryl. Although it's possible that the casts were filming flashback scenes, it's still safe to say that viewers can still get a glimpse of their favourite characters in season seven, at the very least.

All will be revealed as The Walking Dead returns to AMC for its seventh season on October 23, 2016.
