'Call Of Duty Black Ops 3: Salvation' DLC Release: Here's What Newly Released Trailer Hints Of Gameplay

"Call of Duty Black Ops 3" final expansion, the Salvation DLC, is set to see the release of four new battlegrounds, Citadel, Micro, Outlaw and Rupture. The first full length trailer for the upcoming expansions was published through the official "Call of Duty" YouTube channel. A press release from the publishers also revealed four other multiplayer maps that are in the works for "Call of Duty Black Ops 3," including the preview of the final Zombies map.

The first battleground from "Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Salvation" DLC, Citadel, is revealed to be a home to a powerful medieval army from the past. The castles depicted are ancient and now sit broken and abandoned while the moat and drawbridge would allow for unique player improvement opportunities. However, the last trespassers in the area were not able to make it out alive.

Micro, on the other hand, is a miniaturized war zone that is arriving to "Call of Duty Black Ops 3." The zone uniquely takes place on a well-stocked family picnic table. Players will be allowed to navigate the bite-size Micro battlefield for a larger than life experience.

"Call of Duty Black Ops 3" will also see the battleground of Outlaw. Outlaw seems to be a western-style re-imagination of the map Standoff from "Black Ops 2." The map is a rough and tough medium-sized battlefield that is suggested to bring classic engagements, flanking routes and strategic positions for a long and medium ranged combat.

The final battleground to be released for "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" is the Rupture. Rupture is suggested to be a re-imagination of "The Call of Duty: World at War Classic Outskirts" as a high-tech facility. It is designed by a futuristic society in their desperation to repair the Earth's atmosphere.

"Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Salvation" DLC is also expected to bring a bit of closure to the original Zombies team. Additionally, the latest sneak peek at the team's final chapter, the prologue of "Revelations," was already published last week.
