HTC To Unveil iPhone Copy One A9s At IFA 2016: Specs, Feature Overview

HTC is set to release its new smartphone which would succeed to One A9. Just like its predecessor, the new HTC phone almost looks like Apple's iPhone. The new phone has its name almost identical to the one it will succeed. This new phone would be the HTC One A9s.

The HTC One A9s would be like its older model, which would be almost a lookalike of the iPhone. Phone Arena though points out that possibly Apple borrowed some of the design elements from older HTC models. Though it will have similarities with the older One A9, there would be differences as well.

For one, the HTC logo would not be on the front anymore. The camera and flash would also be moved to its left side. The sensors above the screen are also moved elsewhere. This new design then would make the HTC One A9s look even more like the Apple iPhone, as some have observed.

According to Droid Life the HTC One A9s would be unveiled on the first day of IFA. That would mean on September 1, when IFA would start in Berlin this year. While last year the HTC One A9 had a more quiet launch, this year the HTC One A9s would be a little bit bigger than its predecessor.

While its exterior might almost be the same as that of an iPhone, its interior would naturally be different from it. It will have a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, as Android Authority notes. No other features have been announced so far, though it's speculated that it will have a fingerprint scanner on the front.

Pricing for the HTC One A9s has not been determined yet, though the One A9 has been selling for $429. Most likely the HC One A9 would have its price almost the same. It is also not known whether it will have the new Android Nougat as its OS.
