'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Update: 3 Signs That It's More UNLIKELY A PS4 Exclusive

The "Kingdom Hearts 3" game will reportedly come out with a PS4 version only in limited territories in Xbox version. Rumors came from the latest activities that were seen on the Xbox storefront in Japan, where the "Kingdom Hearts 3" game was reportedly removed from the Japanese product page leaving an error message of page not found.

Avid fans at "Kingdom Hearts 3" spotted the error message that caused the speculation which was further ignited by the continued absence of the game in the listing to date.

  1. There has been no confirmation from the game developer, Square Enix, that the "Kingdom Hearts 3" game will no longer be released for Xbox. It has only been speculated that the "Kingdom Hearts 3" Xbox Version will only be cancelled in Japan since Microsoft's consoles have not increased their market in that territory.

  2. The much-awaited "Kingdom Hearts 3" is rumored to be released exclusively for PS4 worldwide. A timed agreement like Microsoft's ties to "Rise of The Tomb Raider" may be in order, but with only a few details about the game, much information is still regarded as a hoax.

  3. It should be noted that the "Kingdom Hearts 3" game is still being listed as an Xbox One game on the "Kingdom Hearts 3's" official Japanese website. The Xbox One page is also still active in North America and in other territories. The deleted page may be a sign that an exclusivity agreement is in store for the game. However, it may also be a mere glitch on the site itself.

The "Kingdom Hearts 3" game is set for another big official showcase this winter. As of this writing, the "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still being developed for both PS4 and Xbox One and is slated for release some time in 2017. Watch the "Kingdom Hearts" HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue E3 2016 Trailer.
