'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 News And Updates: Production Kicks Off, Lady Stoneheart Might Not Appear

Filming is already underway for epic series "Game of Thrones" Season 7 which will air on spring next year but according to reports, Lady Stoneheart will not appear again this time.

The schedule is a little late compared to other "Game of Thrones" production which usually starts on July, Entertainment Weekly reported. The shooting for the second to last season of the series is currently ongoing on Northern Ireland. Other locations also include Spain and Iceland.

Characters which survived from the last season are expected to be back on the show as well as new casts--veteran actor Jim Broadbent (Harry Potter film series)--who is said to be playing a significant role in the new season, plus a few new minor characters.

However, the character that the fans have been waiting for to see since the last season, Lady Stoneheart, might not be appearing  again in "Game of Thrones" Season 7,as reported by Screenrants. The show is known for omitting a few characters in George R.R. Martin's book and unfortunately, she's one of them.

In a report on Movie Guide, Martin himself addressed Lady Stoneheart's possible appearance in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 and revealed that the show had actually removed her character completely from the storyline.

In an interview with IGN "Game of Thrones" director Mark Mylod said that they have never discussed about Lady Stoneheart entering the story.

"As a director, working with those actors, it's important for me to stay focused on the present and find that emotional truth in the moment. And I don't mean that as a dodge in this. I've genuinely had no discussions about Lady Stoneheart, so I genuinely couldn't comment about whether that might or might not be in their minds for the future," Mylod said.

Lady Stoneheart is completely a goner until the production changes their mind and realizes her importance. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will also have a reduction of episodes and will air only seven instead of the usual 10.
