“Girl Meets World” Current Season Switches To Hiatus Mode

The third installment to the hit tv sitcom is getting more entertaining as the episodes step forward. Per IMDb, Episode 12 entitled “Girl Meets Bear,” aired on August 26 that features Riley’s quest in finding her missing childhood teddy bear with the aid of her family.

Meanwhile, Episode 13, “Girl Meets the Great Lady of New York,” will hit our screens on September 16.

No statements were released by the show’s network as to why the coming of age series is presently on hold.  Although fans remain positive about the series renewal, they could not help but speculate that the two – week break on air could be a major hint that season 3 could be the concluding season of the show.

Showrunners Keep Mum On Cancellation Rumors

In a previous report of iTech Post, “Girl Meets World” star Rowan Blanchard has been noted to be hopeful on season 4 renewal despite its uncertainty. It is greatly believed that the stars have outgrown their characters and their maturity is no longer appropriate for the show’s concept.

In an interview, Roland expressed her thoughts about the fate of the show amid the controversies chasing its ending.

"I know as much as you do," she said. "We are hoping for a Season 4, obviously, because we want to continue our story, and I feel like it's an important story to tell. But as of right now, we just finished [filming] Season 3 and we're still waiting on the word,” said Blanchard.

Supporters of the show are looking forward on hearing good news from the showrunners as the latter’s silence seems to create more noise.
