Lenovo A Plus And Lenovo P2 Released: Specs, Price And More

Lenovo is proving to be one of the leading contenders in the smartphone industry. With this, a concrete example in the form of the newly released Lenovo P2 and the Lenovo Vibe P1 is out for the public to use.

What is the Lenovo A Plus?

Lenovo wants to enter the affordable niche market for smartphones, and so it went on to develop the Lenovo A Plus. It features a 4.5-inch display as well as a decent 480 x 854 resolution, which would be enough for day to day usage, without the luxuries of high-end qualities.

The Lenovo A Plus features a MediaTek MT6580 chip that is running on 1.3GHz together with the 1 GB RAM. Speaking of storage capacity, it has a small 8 GB of internal storage, however, the expandable microSD card slot makes up for it. While it only has a 2000 mAh battery, the device is not "energy-thirsty" due to its low specs its specs; thus, it would be a good enough to get through the day.

The Lenovo A Plus also has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel selfie snapper, enough to take decent pictures of memories in standard quality. With the feature of the Lenovo A Plus' less than standard specs, one thing makes it a competitive phone -- its very low $77 price tag.

What's with the Lenovo P2?

On the other hand, Lenovo upgrades the previous Lenovo Vibe P1, with the Lenovo P2 which boasts its gargantuan battery. The Lenovo P2, equipped with a battery is at a whopping 5100 mAh, giving one the capability of using it throughout the day, literally.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor is also an improvement giving the Lenovo P2 a much-needed break to further its computing prowess. A 5.5-inch display having a resolution of 1080 x 1920 is a very good deal, with the device having a 401 PPI density.

With this, Lenovo is surely up to compete against Apple and Samsung and taking on the forsaken markets with the help of the Lenovo A Plus. The Lenovo P2 is also very effective in taking on the midrange market, sucking out potential customers of Samsung and other phone manufacturers.
