Avid viewers of Vikings are still clueless when the next episode will come out and History channel has yet to give the official release date. Speculations on the coming episode predict Ragnar's death but is likely to kill Aslaug first. If this happens, there is only one person left to rule Kattegat and that is Queen Lagertha.

It can be remembered that a woman shall rule Kattegat when King Ragnar dies according to the Seer. Aslaug believed she is the person to rule so she planned a way to get into the King's heart through her slave Yidu. The slave introduces a medicine to Ragnar that slowly makes him addicted and unknowingly kills his spirit.

Aslaug's plan didn't go very well because Ragnar finds out about it which could be the reason why the legendary Viking intends to kill his wife.

In the last episode, Ragnar has been away for a long time and upon his return, not all are pleased, Bjorn included.

This is the first time History channel has more than 10 episodes in one season for Vikings so it is understandable that it's taking more time to finish filming the series. Actress Katheryn Winnick posted on her Facebook "Mad rush to finish up Vikings 4B.. Get ready.. it's going to be epic!"

Vikings is a historical drama TV series from the History channel. It is inspired by the story of the legendary Norse hero, Viking Ragnar Lothbrok. Ragnar started as a farmer who not only became famous for his raids but also became the Scandinavian King with the help of his wives Aslaug and Lagertha, his son Bjorn and his brother Rollo.

The series premiered on March 3, 2013 and is currently in its 4th season. History has extended its contract for a 5th season with 20 more episodes.
