First Look On 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8: Damon And Enzo On A Killing Spree; Sybil To Be The Root Of All Evil In Series Finale

With "The Vampire Diaries" concluding its series in the upcoming season eight, the fans are all the more excited about what the writers have in store for the characters of the series. With Damon back to being a bad guy, how will Stefan be able to get him back on track?

There have been promotional reports saying that Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) is back on a killing spree, similar to what he did and the kind of vampire that he was when introduced during the first season. However, this time he wouldn't be doing it alone, and by the looks of it, he is just under evil orders.

Season Eight To Be Parallel With Events During Season One Of "The Vampire Diaries"

It can be recalled during the first season that Damon's way of hunting preys is to lie on the road, pretending to be a dead body and kills anyone who stops by to check up on him. Based on the recent promo, Damon is back in his old ways with Enzo (Michael Malarkey) to pair up with him. It has been reported that all of these is under the order of the new villain in the upcoming eights season of "The Vampire Diaries," Sybil.

It has already been revealed that the episode titles for the upcoming episodes of the season are famous lines that were made during the first season of "The Vampire Diaries." This has then led to the assumptions that the series finale may feature episodes parallel to those during the series premiere.

More Teasers In Upcoming Series Finale Of "The Vampire Diaries"

In addition to that, there are many characters rumoured to be bound for their return. That includes Nina Dobrev as either Elena Gilbert or Katherine Pierce; and Michael Trevino as the hybrid werewolf, Tyler Lockwood. He has been keeping Elena's body and this may link both of their return to Mystic Falls.

It has been reported that season eight of "The Vampire Diaries" will open with Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) investigating the massive deaths in Mystic Falls that will eventually lead them to Damon and Enzo, and then to Sybil which is reportedly to cause all the evil in the series finale.

All of these teasers and more in the upcoming final season of "The Vampire Diaries," to premiere on October 21.
