Pokemon Sun And Moon Update: Latest Trailer Introduces Professor Oak's Cousin, Details Discussed

Pokemon Sun and Moon have released yet another update to excite fans heading to its official release. Currently, the latest trailer update has introduced a new character that just looks like Professor Oak which turned out to be the latter's cousin from Alola region. Apparently, reports said that Nintendo is somehow trying to bring some nostalgia to the long-time fans as the game evolves heading towards the current era.

According to Game Rant, the featured character does not have a name yet, while he is only known by his famous last name. In addition, it was not also revealed of what his role is on the upcoming game. However, fans will be able to know him better as the projected demo version will be out soon. Nintendo has not yet missed any single detail regarding the releasing trailers for the upcoming game. As for the time being, the company had released several surprises for those old and new fans of the franchise.

Nintendo previously released series of new Pokemon and several Alolan forms which caught the eye of fans. In addition, they had also introduced unique Z-moves by some Pokemon specie. It was reported that the company may still have a lot in store regarding the improvements and surprises that the upcoming game will be offering.

According to Kotaku, the latest trailer proves the previous assumptions regarding Nintendo's plans for the upcoming 3DS game. Earlier, it was thought that the new character is Professor Oak's Alolan form. However, it was later identified as Oak's cousin. Based on the reports, Professor Oak's whereabouts is still unknown as of the moment. However, one thing is for sure, the character has an Oak blood flowing in his veins and has a possibility to be a critical character on the game's plot.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be released on November 18, 2016 for both Nintendo 2DS and 3DS.
