'Inferno' Die-Hard Fans, Get Ready For Another Mystery Solving Adventure This October 28th

Tom Hanks reprises the role of "Robert Langdon" in the new action-packed, mystery adventure movie "Inferno". It is based on Dan Brown's best-selling novel series "The Da Vinci Code" and followed by "Angels & Demons"

In the trailer, Robert Langdon does everything he can to stop a terrorist that threatens to kill half of the human race through a lethal virus. Of course, Langdon will have to solve riddles and puzzles to do so but this time while battling his amnesia. Fortunately, Langdon gets help from Dr. Sienna Brooks.

Although critics call the franchise "quite repetitive", the movie has performed well in the box office and this one shouldn't be any different. According to reports, the 2 previous installments of the film grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide.

Scott Mendelson of Forbes describes the movie as "Stylish and occasionally surreal trailer does make the film look like plenty of schlocky fun, even if I again wonder why the entire world must be in peril yet again."

Sony Pictures' president of worldwide distributions, Rory Bruer, said: "We've had an extraordinary response to the film from audiences - it's testing extremely well."

The film is set to be released in the US on October 28. In addition, the movie will be digitally remastered so that fans can get better effects whey they view it in IMAX.

Tom Hanks stars the movie with Felicity Jones, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Sidse Babett Knudsen, and Ben Foster. The film is directed by Ron Howard, who also directed the first 2 films in the series. With him is David Koepp as the movie's screenplay writers and Brian Grazer is co-producing.

This is Tom Hanks' third movie in 2016. The actor also stars in the movie "Sully" directed by Clint Eastwood which had a $35.5 million in opening weekend and "The Circle", a science fiction drama movie.
