This caused some rifts in the family but her sisters have already forgiven him. A few months later, Josh admitted that he had been cheating on his wife and was also using an Ashley Madison account. These scandals led to the cancellation of the show "19 Kids & Counting" last year.

A source reported that Jim and Michelle have had a strained relationship for some time now and was only staying together for the money they are getting from their show. Furthermore, the couple has been candy coating and faking a supposedly happy marriage for the sake of TV ratings.

Since the plug was pulled from their show "19 Kids and Counting," Jim and Michelle seems to be in an even bigger crisis. The money it seems is running dry and they seemed cash strapped. A report was written that the couple is even begging their fans for financial donations to support their very large family. Although their daughter's Jill and Jessa Duggar landed their own spin off show, it is nowhere near the ratings and the paycheck of their previous show.

The money problem, along with the scandal about Josh last year is likely the cause of their marriage meltdown. The divorce is set to be finalized before the year ends. No actual confirmation was made by Jim and Michelle but fans think that it is only a matter of time before their divorce happen.
