Celine Dion Sings Rap Songs In Ballad Music; Talks About Husband's Death On 'Ellen'

Celine Dion sings rap songs like Britney Spear's "Work B****", Nelly's "Hot in Herre", LMFAO and Lil Jon's "Shots", and Missy Elliot's "Work It" in ballad music and talks about how she's recovered from her husband's death on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"

It has been eight months since René Angélil, the singer's husband has lost the battle with cancer and Dion candidly shares her experience.

"That was his destiny and I still feel extremely fortunate that he has given me three magnificent children. Wonderful pieces of luggage,"

The singer explains she feels well because she knows her husband is no longer suffering. The most difficult thing to accept is not losing somebody but seeing them suffer. For the singer, as long as she knows he is in a better place now, she is feeling way better.

Later in the show, DeGeneres challenged the singer to sing rap songs which the singer accepted but said "My career is going to end tonight,"

If there's one thing that the singer would not do was to sing the demeaning lyrics of "Work B****" saying "I could not go on with what was written there, sorry about that."

Celine Dion first met her husband when she was 12 years old. "Not in a relation to that level, but with as much respect and love." the singer mentioned in an interview.

During those days, Angélil was her manager and helped transform Dion to one of the most loved singers of all time.

The singer confessed that at that time, she didn't even know how to play any instrument or read music. But, "I had a great manager who surrounded me with the best people."

After some years, Dion started to have a romantic relationship with Angélil. They decided to keep it a secret to avoid being talked about and scrutinized for their age differences. Finally, when Dion was of age, she went public about it and "It was like bang! love! Love always wins."
