‘The Last Ship’ Season 4 Spoilers: Bridget Regan To Reprise Her Role; Chandler Ends Up As President?

TNT’s “The Last Ship” season 3 concluded with shocking revelations as Tom Chandler emerged victorious on his thrilling battles with political leaders. After getting the green light on its fourth installment, it couldn’t be more interesting with dreamy spoilers.

Showrunner Confirms Return of Bridget Regan
Season 3 ended with unfortunate losses but the addition of Bridget Regan as Sasha Cooper strengthened the show as a former Navy Intelligence Officer. Seeing her again in the latest season will put more thrill and intelligence (of course) in the action – packed show.

Indeed, EP Steven Kane made a good choice of letting Regan reprise her role in the fourth season with his
“Yes, Bridget will be back” affirmation.

Chandler Might Be The New President
Main character Captain Tom Chandler was hypothesized to end up as the US president because of his wit and strategic skills in solving adversities affecting mankind but showrunner Steven Kane said otherwise.

“It was never our plan this season to have him take that role because you do want to see him with his crew on the ship doing what he does. They always announce people of high rank when they arrive on the ship, so if you’re the Captain, they call you the name of the ship — “Nathan James arriving!” But if the President walks on the ship, they ring the bell and they say, “United States arriving!,” Kane explained during an interview with TV line.

Meanwhile, in an interview, actor and producer Eric Dane dropped major hints about what to expect on his character (Tom Chandler) in the forthcoming season.

"Tom has been on three very different, personal journeys between season one and three. Season four will probably be about Chandler's journey back to consciousness. It's going to be like an epic, mythical-type odyssey. You're going to dig it," Dane said.
