5 New Tricks For Your Apple Watch Via watchOS3

Just days after the official unveiling of the Apple Watch Series 2, the Cupertino-based company has released yet another update for its line of wearable technology. That is the new watchOS 3, which has promised to make owning a unit more fun and efficient.

According to The Verge, installing the new watchOS 3 update will require the unit to be plugged in for charging or have at least 50 percent of battery charge left. However, once the update is completed, the user's Apple Watch comes out with new features that are sure to make using the wearable more enjoyable.

1. Scribble

As noted by C|Net, the new watchOS 3 allows wearers to literally write down responses to messages, all thanks to the new Scribble feature. Here, wearers are given the option to reply to a variety of messages, such as Mail, Messages, Facebook Messenger.

Users need to only tap on the application and spell out their reply letter by letter. While this seems like a tedious task, the Scribble feature is fast reacting and can catch on even the quickest writing.

2. Tapback

The new iOS 10 updates the iMessage feature to include a variety of more interactive fun. Fortunately, Apple has extended some of the new aspects onto the Apple Watch via watchOS 3.

Users will not be able to see sticker packs or apps, but the fun bubble and screen effects will be viewable.

3. Edit Watch Faces

Instead of looking for the perfect watch face, Apple now has a feature suited specifically for this. The Watch app, which needs to be opened by the user's iPhone, is chock full of ready watch faces. It also includes previously created and stored ones.

4. Activity Sharing

WatchOS 3 finally allows wearers to share their fitness journey with other Apple Watch users. This feature has been present in other fitness trackers but is just now making its way to the Apple wearable.

To activate the same, users need only to go to Activity on their handheld, tap on Sharing and then Add Friend.

5. SOS Mode

The Apple Watch can now be a security device, as holding down the button on its side will automatically dial emergency services. However, there is a quick countdown in order to eliminate mistake calls. Users will also get the opportunity to list down three SOS contacts.
