'America's Got Talent' Season 11 Finale: Grace VanderWaal Earns Standing Ovation With Original Song 'Clay'

"America's Got Talent" season 11 contestant and child wonder Grace Vanderwaal, considered by many viewers to be the highlight of the season, delivered another bone-chilling performance that exceeded everyone's expectations. The 12-year-old songwriter and ukulele player wowed judges and viewers as she gave an emotional performance of her yet another original song, "Clay."

The child wonder impressed all the judges on the hit TV show after her song. Howie Mandel praised VanderWaal saying that the child's performance was his "favorite moment of the night." Heidi Klum compared her to the "most original diamond," while Mel B told her that she was "meant to be here." 

Simon Cowell has also been forthcoming with praises for the young child performer. The notorious AGT judge predicted during VanderWaal's audition that she could be the next Taylor Swift. He gave high praises for the performance and claimed that VanderWaal deserved to be a finalist. Cowell told her, "I don't know what's going to happen, but you're going to be there at the end. I can feel it."

It can be recalled that VanderWaal's became a YouTube sensation after she performed her original song "I Don't Know My Name" during "America's Got Talent" season 11 auditions. After hearing her play, Mandel pressed the Golden Buzzer allowing her to advance to the live rounds.

Aside from the epic child performer, nine other finalists are vying to be the next winner of "America's Got Talent." These contestants include the psychic duo known as The Clairvoyants, comedian mime Tape Face, the singing group Linkin' Bridge, passionate singer Brian Justin Crum, singing pizza delivery boy Sal Valentinetti, classical opera singer Laura Bretan, magician Jon Dorenbos, and self-taught contortionist Sofie Dossi.

The winner of "America's Got Talent" season 11 will be announced Wednesday, Sept. 14.
