Aeria Releases Monster Paradise, Japan’s Hit Social Mobile Game

Aeria Mobile launched their first game Thursday, localizing the Japanese monster hit Monster Paradise for players in the west.

A division of Aeria Games, which runs several popular MMO's including Eden Eternal, Need for Speed World and Dynasty Warriors Online, Aeria Mobile already has several future releases in the works, including a mobile version of Eden Eternal, Eden Eternal: Monster Arena, which is currently available in Australia and Canada, with a global release forthcoming.

The Pokemon-inspired Monster Paradise features over 500 different anime-inspired monsters to battle, collect, and fuse together. Anyone who's played Pokemon can attest to just how addictive the collecting aspect of games like this can be.

"Aeria Mobile was established to deliver highly anticipated games like Pokelabo's smash hit to core gamers in the West," said Lan Hoang, Chief Executive Officer, Aeria Games. "Monster Paradise is the perfect maiden title for us, as it will truly resonate with the millions of fans of trading card-style RPG games."

The game's social element has further catapulted it to massive success in Japan. Players can form teams with their captured and fused monsters, and battle other player's teams in PvP combat. Or if players would rather co-operate than conquer, they can also team up with each other to finish quests, and take down powerful bosses that spawn only during random times, even requesting aid in their mission through Facebook and Twitter.

Monster Paradise was developed by Pokelabo Inc., a leading mobile developer in Japan, and has been one of the top downloaded titles in Japan since its release.
