Pokemon Go Plus Tips: How To Use Upcoming PoGo Device

Pokemon Go Plus is due to arrive on September 16. Fortunately, some early birds who got the device are willing to share their experiences with it.

Pokemon Go Plus is a device so small that it can be worn around the player's wrist or could fit easily in the pocket. This upcoming Nintendo PoGo accessory allows players to catch Pokemon without the need of unlocking their smartphones or mobile devices. Reddit user c-a-m-i posted some of the Pokemon Go Plus features.

PoGo Plus Distance Tracking

It has been confirmed that PoGo Plus can still track the distance of both player's buddy and eggs even if the smartphone is locked. However, players would need to unlock their phones if they want hatch the eggs.

PoGo Plus on Incense and Lures

The Reddit user was able to confirm that Pokemon attracted by Incense do not seemed to appear in PoGo Plus. However, the device will alert users of Lure Pokemon before it appears on the their smartphone's screen

PoGo Pokestops and Pokemon Alert

In PoGo Plus, the Pokestop will vibrate twice and show a blue light while a Pokemon alert will cause the device to vibrate once and show a green light. The PoGo Plus will also inform player how many items they have by the number of vibrations. Two vibrations means two items but a single vibration accompanied by a white light means the player's bag is full.

PoGo Plus Pokemon Catching With Poke Balls

Pokemon Go Plus does not allow the use Great or Ultra Balls. Player will be notified that they are out of Poke Balls blinking a red light. At the same time, players will also be informed via their smartphones. Players will need to wait for five seconds after pressing the PoGo Plus to know the success of their catch.

A successful catch will cause the Pokemon Go Plus to make three vibrations and blinking white light followed by multicolored lights and multiple vibrations.
