'Digimon World: Next Order' Release Date, News: RPG Coming to PS4 and Vita; Features 200 Digimon?

A new digital monsters game, "Digimon World: Next Order" by Bandai Namco, will be launched for PlayStation 4. This console port of the PlayStation Vita game's release was recently publicized by Tokyo Game Show.

According to Polygon, an improved and better graphics can be expected from this digital and retail release of "Digimon World: Next Order." The producers of the game made this promise during a pre-TGS event. Its PS4 will also be equipped with an enhanced game balanced, thus the console port might be more difficult as compared to its original Vita version. There are also plans of having 12 new playable Digimon, which includes Marine Angemon, Ice Devimon, and Boltmon.

"Digimon World: Next Order" promises to feature over 200 Digimon to choose from. The game will also allow its players to raise, train, and travel along with their two Digimon of choice at once. According to Polygon, "Digimon World: Next Order" story will start when players will be brought into the Digital World and realized that the place is being seized by Machinedramons. The player is then rescued by two Digimon, then the player works together with their Digimon and travel within the entire Digital World to focus on rediscovering the beginnings of the Machinedramon, and eventually finding a means to go back into the real world.

According to the Sixth Axis, the "Digimon World: Next Order" franchise will be released in 2017 on PS4. It was also said that "Digimon World: Next Order" implied leaving the Vita, since Bandai Namco failed to made mention about it, even if the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth was released on the handheld just last year. There were updates however that clarified this issue. Vita will still be released on Sony's handheld. "Digimon World: Next Order" trailer was recently launched.
