Nokia 808 PureView Coming on June 30 in UK

The Nokia 808 PureView is coming very soon in the UK. At least the UK retailers' sites are claiming to start selling the phone as soon as June 30.

Amazon UK announces that the latest Nokia device will be available on June 30. The retailer has the 808 PureView black and white models. Price of the phone is £500 ($780) with VAT included.

Expansys UK has all three color versions black, white and red and listed the phone's price at £500. The retailer, however, does not provide any launch date.

Play.com also has sim-free unlocked 808 priced at £519.99. The phone will be launched on July 2.

Meanwhile, another Clove UK retailer has given very little information about the color and launch date of PureView phone. The website only says that the phone will come only in mid or late July with a price tag of £504.

Nokia revealed 808 PureView, which boasts of a whopping 41 megapixel camera, way back at the Mobile World Congress 2012. The Nokia phone sports a 4-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels and 184 ppi pixel density, 1.3 GHz ARM 11, 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 48 GB with an external microSD memory card, 1 GB ROM and 512 MB RAM, new Belle Symbian OS, and Standard Li-Ion 1400 mAh (BV-4D) battery.
