Dragon Quest VII: Fragments Of The Forgotten Past, Now Available In Nintendo 3DS

The Classic RPG game and Dragon Quest franchise has arrived to Nintendo 3DS.

If you were able to enjoy this game on your PlayStation, you will surely enjoy it with your Nintendo 3DS. Now, you can play the game on a portable console wherever you are.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is a Japanese role-playing video game developed and published for PlayStation in 2000. It was developed by gaming gurus HeartBeat and ArtePiazza; as well as published by Enix.

Fragments of the Forgotten past is the seventh installment and the successor of 1995's Dragon Quest VI for the Super Famicom. Dragon Quest VII became the sixth best-seller video game of any platforms last 2001. It reached four million copies in January 5, 2001.

Gameplay

Dragon Quest VII's game flow is different from all of the other Dragon Quest games. Exploration may take longer since the party can go to separate continents by placing stone shards on their appropriate pedestals.

Monsters

Monsters roam and can appear almost anywhere. With that said, once the monsters spotted you, its either you fight them or avoid them by escaping or running away. Avoiding them though is easier said than done.

Characters

There are a lot of characters to choose from. Although the names differ from Manga comics and English translation, the characters are still the same. Some of the characters are Hero, Kiefer, Maribel, Gabo or known as Ruff in 3DS english translation.

Stats

In every RPG game, stats are important. Stats is based on the skill of a certain character. Some characters can maximize their "Strength" stats but not as effective as a power character.

Overall, this interactive classic game never gets old. It brings that nostalgic feeling at the very onset once your hear the theme play on and right when you are actually playing the game.
