Little Behati Prinsloo is on the way! And daddy Adam Levine couldn't be any happier!
Maroon 5's front man just proved to the world that he is a committed dad-to-be as he (and the band) cancelled a Monday night concert along with a series of other shows in preparation of his first child's arrival.
Levine announced on his Facebook page that the band has rescheduled seven shows from their Maroon V Tour last Sept. 3. The band also noted that fans who purchased tickets to Monday's show in Hartford, Conn., will be getting a full refund.
"Due to the upcoming birth of my child, we've had to move around 7 dates... We're very sorry for the inconvenience and I look forward to seeing you all very soon." the "She Will Be Loved" singer wrote.
The singer also released a short video of himself, expressing his apology for the said cancelled concerts. The new shows were pushed back to early next year.
It can be recalled that Behati Prinsloo and Maroon 5’s vocalist announced that they are expecting their first child together last April. The couple started dating back in 2012 and tied the knot in 2014. Prinsloo is expecting to deliver their baby girl on Sept. 20.
In an interview with KIIS FM radio’s Ryan Seacrest, Levine revealed that he is eager to have his own family.
"We're definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible.” the singer exclaimed.
On the other hand, the 27-year-old Victoria’s Secret Model who is 39 weeks pregnant shared her latest pregnancy photo on Instagram captioned with a bomb emoji, indicating that she’s ready to pop.
Prinsloo also expressed her desire to have children during an interview saying, "I've always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family... I'm an only child so I wanted like 10 kids... for sure."
The expectant parents were also subject to divorce rumors amidst the pregnancy. However, the couple has proven them wrong and remained solid not just a couple but as parents as well.
