Pokemon GO Update: Red Dot In Plus Device Explained, Fans Displeased With Minor Text Fixes

There's no doubt that Pokemon GO is one of the highly celebrated games of today. And sure enough, Niantic isn't looking to stop its momentum. Just recently, the studio released the so-called Plus device, which helps players in their journey to becoming the very best. But of course, since it's new, fans have lots of questions regarding its features -- one of which is the red dot. So what does it do? Is it a tracker or something? Meanwhile, here's why the developers should consider giving improvements rather than a mere minor text fix.

As previously reported here at iTech Post, Pokemon GO Plus is basically a wearable tech that lets players hatch and catch monsters a lot easier. And what's the best thing about it? It allows them to do such thing without the burden of using their devices.

One of the biggest questions that people have about the said Pokemon GO tool is the red dot. A Reddit user by the name of zturn said that the device notified him about a nearby Pokemon, though he didn't use it or whatsoever. The only catch is that his phone displayed what appears to be a red dot. To make things more interesting, it is where the creature spawned.

The aforementioned Pokemon GO player also mentioned about her sister's experience with the red dot. However, when she attempted to catch the monster, her phone displayed an error. So, in one way or another, there's confusion. It's unclear if this mysterious dot is a feature or perhaps a bug.

In related Pokemon GO news, fans were displeased following a recent update Niantic did to the game. That instead of providing more improvements, the studio opted to unleash some minor text fixes. But in one way or another, the community rather found it quite amusing.

According to Polygon, the Pokemon GO minor text fixes has now become a meme within the fandom. It's basically their way of showing their disappointment. In fact, some of them see the update as a symbol of their never-ending suffering, as they continuously wait for new updates.

What are your thoughts on Pokemon GO Plus and the red dot? Do you think it's really a feature? Have you tried exploring it? How about the minor text fixes issue? Let us know what you think at the comment section below!
