‘No Man’s Sky’ Update 1.09 Gameplay Changes: Stacking Exploit Really Fixed? Appears Not; Sean Murray Silent For A Month Now

"No Man's Sky" update 1.09 new update was intended to fix the stacking exploit, however, the fans reportedly want all items to be stackable because of the game's small inventory slots. Reports also indicate that players could still be allowed to keep the current stacks even after updating the game, but the ability to stack up more has been removed by the developer.

"No Man's Sky" update 1.09 has already been released by Hello Games, bringing several fixes and changes to the game. The massive update, with a size of 733MB, has reportedly fixed a number of bugs and removed the stacking exploit as well.

Since no official patch notes have been released on the game's official website yet, players who were able to download the patch said that the update log only indicates "bug fixes" on it. Some players also recommended that others stack up first prior to downloading the new update.

Some improvements were also noted in the gameplay, including a faster saving setting and both the audio and visuals appear to have been enhanced as well. In addition, the players also noticed the new music included in the new patch.

Other changes that were noticeable in the new update are the new textures and additional fog and flora designs. A new tweak on the visual was also done for the player's affinity with every faction, which may suggest a teaser for a likely full-on faction battle feature someday, The Bit Bag reported.

Meanwhile, "No Man's Sky" creator Sean Murray's Twitter appears to be silent for a month now, prompting others to speculate that the development is huddling down in the midst of some misleading ad campaign. As the game continues to get updates, with a new patch rolling out on PS4 already, Murray has also maintained his silence.

According to reports, most gamers believe that the game creator is only laying low to allow the chaos to roll over until such time when people would forget the "No Man's Sky". Aside from Murray, Hello Games official Twitter account has not posted anything yet following its last tweet on Aug. 27, Tweak Town reported.
