'One Piece' Chapter 840 Spoilers, Updates: Sanji's Diable Jambe Goes Against Luffy's Gear Four! Marines, Yonkos Fear A New Threat

One Piece chapter 840 is coming soon and fans are eager to know the fate of Sanji and whether Luffy will make it in time to save him from marrying the Yonko's daughter, Pudding.

Save Chef Zeff

There are rumors among fan sites that Sanji will choose to marry Pudding because it is the only way for him to save his erstwhile mentor Chef Zeff from the brutality of his father Judge Vinsmoke, who has unequivocally shown that he does not have an ounce of mercy in him.

The previous chapter revealed Judge Vinsmoke threatening Sanji of killing Zeff if he does not go through the wedding with Big Mom's daughter.

Judge has allied with the Yonko to strengthen his military position in the world despite being stripped of his royal status by the World Council.

Sanji's Diable Jambe versus Luffy's Gear Four!

Sanji's decision to marry Pudding possibly may push him to abandon the Straw Hat Pirates which would directly go against Luffy's wishes.

Luffy most probably will tell Sanji that getting married with Pudding and leaving the Strawhat Pirates are not wrong decisions but only if he truly wishes to do so.

Luffy knows in his heart this is not what Sanji wants to do. Similar in the Battle of Marine Ford, Luffy will promise to save both Sanji and Zeff.

If Sanji disagrees with Luffy, there is a possibility that in "One Piece" Chapter 840, Luffy will use his haki imbued Gear Four against Sanji's flaming Diable Jambe to knock some sense into his friend's head.

This would be a battle of epic proportions because fans have never before seen the two friends fight.

The ensuing commotion could also unleash the clone army of the Vinsmokes. It was hinted at "One Piece" chapter 839 that the war-mongering royal family is experimenting on their soldiers which shocked Sanji.

Judge Vinsmoke and Sanji's cruel brothers may use the commotion in Pudding's wedding to battle test their cloned soldiers against the Strawhat Pirates to eliminate them permanently.

Marines And Yonkos Fear a New Threat: Clone Armies!

The clone army of the Vinsmokes called "Germa 66" follows a recent theme in "One Piece" stories where villains use technology to multiply their forces.

In the Dressrosa arc, Law made an alliance with the Strawhat Pirates to stop Kaido from making an army of artificial Zoan Devil Fruit Users --men who could turn into animal monsters without eating the mythical devil fruit.

It is possible that "One Piece" is tacitly moving away from the Marines, Shichibukai and Yonko power structure to a more massive and chaotic interaction of the major players in the "One Piece" world.

Kaido and Big Mom can use their legions of cloned soldiers to overpower the Marines and other Yonkos. There would be no need to maintain the current balance of the world divided among the former world powers.

The demise of the old world power structure is supported by the fact that one of the Yonko, Whitebeard, has died and his crew defeated by Blackbeard. As fans know, Blackbeard is a malevolent pirate who has shown the remarkable ability of wielding two devil fruit powers at the same time, a feat no other character in "One Piece" has ever displayed.

In addition, the old guards from the Pirate King's generation have all retired like Vice-Admiral and Marine Hero Garp, Ex-Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Ex-Admiral Kuzan.

There is a high chance therefore for upcoming "One Piece" chapter 840 to use the wedding of Pudding and Sanji as foreshadowing of the future chaos that would happen in the series.
