Project Scorpio Better Than PS4 Pro? Micrsoft Exec Thinks So

Sony and Microsoft have been keeping up with each other in terms of developing this console generation's series of games. Even before, Sony was nudging at Microsoft's Xbox One for what seems like a lack of game support. The development of PS4 Pro and the Xbox Scorpio may give way to both companies to stop opposing each other.

PS4 Pro was mentioned by one Microsoft executive. His opinion about it seems to be less of a compliment. Game Rant reported about Albert Penello's remark on Microsoft going into 4K gaming with pleasure. He was quoted to have said that Xbox Scorpio may have aspired a little bit higher than that of Sony's PS4 Pro. He also doubted if Sony's console is worthy to be considered as fully 4K. Penello is also unconvinced on the console's 4.2 teraflops. He said that the console is "not enough to do a true 4K". He advised that Sony's 4K gaming claims are not just what it seems. Penello said "I think there are a lot of caveats they're giving customers right now". He even added "They're talking about checkerboard rendering and up-scaling and things like that".

According to Gamespot, Penello was not the only person who questioned the power of Sony's upcoming console. This is because Sony was also receiving questions for the 4K support for the PS4 Pro since its announcement. It has been on the hot seat since the console could not even play 4K Blu Rays. As a result, Microsoft took this opportunity to sell out its Xbox One S. It is clear that PS4 sales are higher than Xbox One sales however, Microsoft's Scorpio was added with more meat, and the Xbox One S was also added with more versatility, which made them pretty confident.
