J.K. Rowling is proud to announce the release of their Patronus test at Harry Potter official website, Pottermore.

What Is A Patronus?

Aside from testing for your wand, and donning the sorting hat to know which house you belong to, Pottermore now offers a test where you can discover the form of your Patronus!

Patronus is a form of advance magic and Harry Potter is one of the youngest wizards to ever cast a corporeal Patronus. If you could recall back in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, he was taught magic spells by Professor Remus Lupin at the tender age of 13. It's an anti-Dementor spell - the dark creatures who guards Azkaban and feeds on human happiness. Patronus can guard you against the Dementors as they cannot hurt it.

Each Patronus takes the form of the animal which the caster has special affinity with. In Harry's case - his Patronus is a stag, Hermione's an Otter, and Ron's a Jack Russel Terrier. And if you remember in Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, Dumbledore's Army - a group of students led by Harry himself - were secretly learning the Patronus charm and the animals they conjured had a wide pool of variety.

J.K. Rowling has created a virtual test in which all Harry Potter fans can now take to know the form of their Patronus (I'm a Stag). It takes you through a virtual journey and a relaxing experience which stimulates your senses - and takes you back to your young wizard mind - back into the amazing wizarding world of Harry Potter. The use of headphones is advised for better experience.
