Clash of Clans enthusiasts know how difficult it is to pull a successful three-star attack, which can only be achieved using the Hog Rider or Balloons. It is common knowledge that Hog Riders are the fastest in defense and also the quickest clean-up team during attacks. This article, however, will tell you how to pull it successfully with the Hog Rider.

Make sure that you pay attention and use these Clash of Clans tips and strategies at the correct time. For example, if you are planning to defeat the Queen, attack the Castle, or find Double Giant Bomb locations, you can do this by distracting the base towers of the defense first.

In order to do this, you have to sacrifice some of your troops by letting the defense shoot at some of your units. Once distracted, however, you can bring in the Hog Riders so they can start sweeping up the place. This Clash of Clans strategy requires patience and timing so you have to calculate when is the best time to di this during your attacks.

Hog Riders have little health points compared to others so it is easy for defense teams to take them out quickly. To make the above strategy work, you must have troops to Tank for them. It will be much more effective if you use a unit with very high HP or you can pair your Hog Riders with Golems when doing this attack.

Better yet, your troops should have at least 15 barbarians with the rest as Hog Riders. You should also fill your clan castle with Wizards because they are able to clean out the enemy clan castle, hero, and Queen.

The Hog Rider strategy requires some knowledge but once you get the hang of it, it is a very effective and powerful strategy, especially if you want to get to high-end leagues or farm trophies.
