Elegance Meets Technology: Michael Kors Collaborates With Fujifilm For New Instax Camera
Who doesn't love to take a selfie today? Instax is back on track since last year and everyone who loves photography has one. Instax is manufactured by Fujifilm. Instax cameras were released during the 1990s. Now, Fujifilm is expanding its boundaries when it coordinated with a famous fashion designer.
Michael Kors, a famous designer of bags, shoes and clothes, did the coolest thing. Kors just collaborated with Fujifilm to create the newly released Instax Mini 70 Camera. In this regard, Kors seems unstoppable when it comes to conquering success.
The momentum of Instax doubled when Fujifilm teamed up with Kors. Gold is the color of success for Kors and everyone knows Kors' signature color is gold matched up with black, which are the latest colors of the camera.
Fujifilm president of North America, Mark Yamamoto called the latest Mini 70 as "pinnacle of style and substance" because of the intricate and sophisticated design which is very different from the previous Mini 70.
Fujifilm called the Mini 70 "Michael Kors Edition" because there's a Michael Kors label at the back of the camera.
Yamamoto referred to Kors' design as "Jet-set aesthetic" because of the combination of gold and black. Kors also based the Mini 70 on his latest handbags collection. Mini 70 has four different shooting modes: macro, landscape, forced flash and high-key. It also has a timer. The difference between Mini 90 and Mini 70 is that the design of Mini 90 is sleeker.
Mini 70 package has a standard tripod socket, flash and retractable lens. The Mini 70 has a "smart selfie mode." The Instax's film is same size of credit card.
"We are seeing an explosion of excitement in instant photography today, and now consumers can make a stylish statement with the combination of INSTAX and the luxury of the Michael Kors brand," Yamamoto said of their latest creation.
The Michael Kors Mini 70 comes with a pack of films. The price of the new Mini 70 is from $95 to $120. Films are affordable with prices ranging from $8.99 up to $35.95 depending on the design of the film and how many sheets are there.
The latest Mini 70 will be available this October.
