"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 is scheduled to be back this Sunday and Regina, the most ruthless dark villain of all, is back to face her greatest enemy, herself. But fans need not to worry because the series is also bringing in new saviors including Jasmine, Aladdin and Jafar.

In the previous season, Dr. Hyde devised a special serum for Regina that will divide herself from her evil side. At first, it looked like it has effectively killed her dark alter ego but the dark queen has survived and back with her evil thoughts and missions.

According to co-creator Edward Kitsis "What we really wanted to explore this season is, can you actually separate the good and the evil within you?" .

"A lot of the characters are going to have to look inward at the different parts of themselves." Co-creator Adam Horowitz added.

Robin Hood, Regina's one true love, have passed away which is enough reason for Regina to be bad again. However, Regina has grown so much - from falling in love, forgiving her old nemesis and redeeming herself. It'll be a waste to just go back and be vicious again.

"She has come too far to revert, but the Evil Queen is such a delicious character," Kitsis explained "The journey that we think she's still on is to learn to like herself. What this does is to put her on a path to explore that."

Meanwhile, the good side is also bringing in new characters to explore. This year, OUAT features Aladdin played by Deniz Akdeniz, Jasmine played by Karen David, and Jafar played by Oded Fehr.

The story of each of the new characters and their interaction with the existing cast "Is what we're excited to put our own twist on." Kitsis says.

Kitsis hints on the possible ending saying "The revelation won't just be a happy bonding moment... the fate of Saviors is not always a happy one."
