Samsung S8 May Sport 10nm Exynos 8895 Processor And ARM's Mali-G71 GPU

Samsung has just recently released its newest phone, the Galaxy Note 7. But despite the scrutiny that it is facing due to the flaming phone issue that it has, it still is not giving up the fight as it is giving hints that a much more powerful Galaxy S8 is in the making.

According to a statement released by Phone Arena, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be way faster than the previous Samsung Galaxy S7 thanks to its new 10nm SoC. There are also reports that point out that Samsung is also planning to make faster 14nm chips, but the 10nm is a more plausible speculation for now.

Samsung will be featuring the 10nm Exynos 8895 processor that will give a speed bump to the S8. Supporting it is the Mali-G71 graphics unit from ARM, making it a true piece of technological marvel.

The new incorporation of the Mali-G71 GPU will mark the start of next gen processor phones for the Samsung Galaxy S8.

According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be capable of supporting Ultra HD 4K displays as well as using VR to the phone. The other features that it can support include OpenGL ES 3.2, Android Renderscript, GPU Compute and Vulkan.

If the speculations prove to be a reality, then Apple is surely in big trouble as the iPhone 7 will be an inferior phone when compared to its direct competition, the Samsung Galaxy S8. With this, Apple needs to have a higher standard in developing its iPhone 8 for next year.
