WWE 2K17, Confirmed Roster Update, All New Finishers, List Inside

Since 2K Sports took over WWE 2K16 franchise last year, it provided us a promising debut with 150 playable characters in different skins and without duplicates. 2K Sports has the reputation to one-up or outdo themselves after their initial release.

As of the moment, around 95% of the roster is already covered. The game will debut on October 11. Rumor has it that there are still few spots available on the WWE 2K17 roster. Some notable names that are not yet included are the likes of ECW Superstars, Tazz, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, and Tommy Dreamer.

Currently, here's the breakdown of the list:

- 136 Unique Playable Characters On Disc (Record)
- 156 Unique Playable Characters including DLC (Record)
- 25 Women in Total (Record)

We all know that the cover of WWE 2K17 is none other than the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and multiple time WWE champion Brock "The Beast Incarnate" Lesnar. He is the best fit to cover the coveted game as his accomplishments for the past year speaks for itself.

However, there are a lot of things that we need to watch out for once the game is released. One character that has two versions is The Man They Called Goldberg. Goldberg, a multiple champion himself, with WCW and WWE can be played by pre-ordering the game.

There are DLC characters, which means they are downloadable content characters and will be playable once you purchase them in a corresponding price.

WWE 2K17 also features the NXT Superstars such as NXT Champion, The King Of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura, fellow Japanese, Hideo Itami, and NXT Womens Champion Asuka.

They say a wrestler's finisher makes the wrestler. Signature moves like Stone Cold Stunner from Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Sweet Chin Music from the heartbreak kid Shawn Michaels, and DDT by Jake "The Snake" Roberts can be imitated but never duplicated.
