'Kingdom Hearts 3' Teases 'Star Wars,' Marvel Characters Appearance; Disney 'Frozen,' 'Tangled,' 'Wreck It Ralph' Gameplay Rights Still In Process? 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8' Pushed To January 2017
The "Kingdom Hearts 3" new worlds will be based from Disney. "Kingdom Hearts 3" co-director Tai Yasue teased about the appearance of "Star Wars" and Marvel characters. In the meantime, Square Enix is waiting to get the rights from Disney.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" latest reveals are said to include new Disney gameplay and worlds in the near future. Game developer Square Enix also revealed a sequel that will not be available on Xbox One just in time for its 15th anniversary.
Square Enix was spotted posting about the sequel "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" in the official "Kingdom Hearts" Twitter account. The developers reportedly said that the game's development is in order and fans can expect new Disney worlds to jump, run, fly, and explore in, Morning Ledger reported.
Meanwhile, "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" launch has been moved to January 2017. The delay was reportedly caused by the adjustment of titles from December 2016 to Jan. 12, 2017, "Kingdom Hearts" creator Tetsuya Nomura reported.
Additionally, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is also rumored to roll out in 2017 for Xbox One and PS4. Nomura confirmed that the game is near completion, Game Rant reported.
Earlier, the Xbox Store Japan reportedly took off "Kingdom Hearts 3" from their online listing. This raised speculations that the update will be a PS4 exclusive. Square Enix has not yet confirmed whether or not the game will be an exclusive title to PS4.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is rumored to feature more disney worlds like the hit animation "Frozen", "Tangled", "Wreck-It-Ralph", "Big Hero 6" among others. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the update were translated by KH Insider who added that the development of "Kingdom Hearts 3" is tagging along. A previously leaked GIF image showed graphical improvements for the game. Rumor has it that the game updates will also add more characters so fans are said to have a choice to use Kairi, a young Xenohart and Eraqutus, Mobile&Apps reported.
