Yooka-Laylee And Shovel Knight
Yooka-Laylee is a new Kickstarter crowdfunded game, and everybody knows Kickstarter is a great way for developers to get sources for their game through crowdfunding. Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platformer developed by Playtonic Games, which was previously part of Rare staff.
The new development team straight from Rare is under a new name called Playtonic Games. They were behind great titles like Banjo-Kazooie and the Donkey Kong Country series. The latest information about the new Yooka-Laylee game was revealed in the EGX Expo, in Birmingham England this week where a brand new trailer for the game was revealed for those excited to play games like Yooka-Laylee.
People have been excited for Yooka-Laylee especially those who played Banjo-Kazooie and have been fans of the series. Make sure to check out the trailer below as this is the first time Shovel Knight appeared in a 3D game, and the model was designed and created by Shovel Knight developers, Yacht Club.
In this open world platformer, Playtonic's new hereoes are Yooka (the green one) and Laylee (the bat). They need to cross several vast and beautiful game worlds, use their arsenal of skills and abilities to tackle and solve the puzzle they hold, in search of Paiges, "the golden bounty used to unlock - and expand - new playgrounds." The game's main protagonist is Capital B, a 'corporate creep' who aims to absorb all of the world's books and convert them 'into pure profit'.

Shovel Knight is originally a classic adventure game nostalgic of the 8-bit retro aesthetic that we grew up playing. It has awesome gameplay and memorable characters, a game developed by Yacht Club. According to their site, "You play as the eponymous Shovel Knight, a small knight with a huge quest." Shovel Knight came to the valley with two goals, save his beloved and defeat the evil Enchantress. Shovel Knight weilds the Shovel Blade or a magical shovel (hence, Shovel Knight) and is available now to a lot of platforms including Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Windows, Mac, and Linux.
