Just as much as the fans were, Kate Jenkinson who plays Allie in "Wentworth" was also surprised at how the story started to pan out when the protagonist of the series, Bea was killed off during the season four finale. She admitted that nobody had seen that incident to happen and it was definitely astonishing to the viewers.

Some of the fans have also reportedly been very vocal about not wanting to watch "Wentworth" anymore when it returns for season five, now that their beloved main character has been killed off. However, Jenkinson is convincing the fans that if they care enough for Bea's character as much as they say they do, then they definitely need to watch the upcoming season.

Many have been praying for a miracle and hoping that Bea will miraculously resurrect when "Wentworth" returns for season five. However, that is unlikely to happen. Rather, they will see the dynamics of the prison cells change, especially now that Allie is out to seek vengeance for her lover's death.

Kate Jenkinson Assures Fans That There Will Be Vengeance For The Death Of Bea

Jenkinson said it to herself that since Bea's death, the inmates will definitely want revenge and seek the justice that Bea deserves in the upcoming "Wentworth" season five. The upcoming season will also reveal how dangerous the prison is, especially when the protagonist has died, this has made an impression that no one is safe from dying.

It has also been confirmed that there will be new characters to be added to the series and there will be a new head in prison after Bea's death. There have been speculations that it could possibly be Joan Ferguson, otherwise known as "The Freak" since she was the one responsible for Bea's death.
