Pokemon GO Multiplayer Battle Mode and Other Exciting Features Coming Soon

Pokemon GO has lost the top spot to Clash Royale but it is not coming down to oblivion without a fight because the people behind it are going to add a multiplayer mode in the near future. The news came from Pokemon Co.'s Tsunekazu Ishihara in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

Ishihara said that the company has been developing a multiplayer battle mode for the popular mobile game. His statement was further confirmed by Archit Bhargava of Niantic said that they've been testing the feature and thinking of how to implement it. One of the schemes they are planning to explore is allowing different teams to team up to defeat a gym owner.

Another feature that will keep Pokemon GO players excited about is an in-game trading system. Many players have been clamoring for the trading feature and Niantic Labs president and CEO John Hanke has already mentioned in an earlier interview that they will set it up in the system. As a matter of fact, if players will read the Niantic Terms of Service, they will find that the trading rules are already included there.

Asked to give a specific timetable when these Pokemon GO features are going to be released, Ishihara said that Niantics has already a timetable for the release of each feature and that they are right on schedule. They are doing that so as not to overwhelm players with new features all at once, said Ishihara. The release might be slow but it will surely come.

As of the latest, Niantics has made some Pokemon GO updates to resolve some minor issues in iOs and Android devices. The update also includes some enhancements in its accessories. Others include location information where the Pokemon was caught and ability to catch a Pokemon using Incense at the Pokemon Go accessory.
