Gigi Hadid stood by her decision to act the way she did when she assaulted a guy who attempted to attack her in Milan and grabbed her from behind.

Just recently, while the model was in Milan, Gigi Hadid was attacked by a random guy, identified to have been Vitalii Sediuk who grabbed her from behind. He also admitted to what he did, saying that he did it as a sign of protest believing that Hadid had nothing to do with high fashion.

After Hadid was recorded and caught assaulting the man who attacked her, she has been getting mixed reactions from the world. Some believe that she was wrong for what she did; saying that it was not the way a model should act. Especially that she is a very famous public figure.

However, despite of many negative reactions on what she did, Hadid stands by her decision to assault the guy. She even attempted to chase the guy down, but she was held and stopped by her bodyguards. She believes that she was in a dangerous situation and she did what she had to do in the moment.

She even encourages women everywhere to watch the video and be inspired to always be ready to defend one's self in all ways that could be presented. As a matter of fact, her mother even praised her for the way she acted and has always convinced her to always be ready to defend herself when the situation demands it.

She also feels touched for how the way people have defended her in that moment and understood her reaction to what happened. She also said that she knows there are many other who are placed in the same situation without cameras and the media to record it, and encourages them to always know how to defend themselves in all ways.
