'Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life' Updates: New Photo Drives Fans Back To How the Luke-Lorelai Love Story Began

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is drawing near its premiere and promotional images for the show just keep coming up. The latest promotional photo released on Instagram featured a note that takes "Gilmore Girls" fans back to Luke and Lorelai love story's day one.

Countless photos from the original "Gilmore Girls" series have kept surfacing, so much more as the show approaches its premiere. Most of the "throwback" pictures were taken from the "Gilmore Girls" Instagram page, which only shows that the revival is really on its way to Netflix. The photo parade even got the revival series a spot in one of the greatest campaign ads of all time.

The latest "Gimore Girls" revival photo featured a torn horoscope reading, which says, "You will meet an annoying woman today. Give her coffee and she'll go away." This takes fans back to the comedic first meeting of Luke and Lorelai, which the couple later reminisced on their first real date in season 5's episode 3.

Taking the world back to that scene, Lorelai rushed into Luke's Diner for coffee, but she was blubbering when Luke stopped her and served her coffee. Lorelai displayed her gratitude, leading her to give a unique thank you deed. Asking for Luke's birthday, she wrote down something under his star sign and told him to keep the note in his wallet because it will one day give him his luck.

As Bustle noted in an article, "Netflix has likely chosen to feature this detail from Luke and Lorelai's history because it sums up their relationship perfectly. The horoscope - "You will meet an annoying woman. Give her coffee, and she'll go away." - tells us something essential about the relationship between Lorelai and Luke."

Meanwhile, plot details of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" have been hard to come by, but throwback pictures let fans take a glimpse on what transpired in the past that might be taken back to the future.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" was recently declared as the most highly-anticipated TV event of 2016. Actress Melissa McCarthy is reprising her role as Sookie, Lorelai's BFF. Other stars including Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn and more of the original cast members will be returning for the revival, which will air starting Nov. 25.
