‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Spoilers: Superhero To Team Up With Green Arrow; More Crossovers To Happen In The Series

"Supergirl" which aired the first season in CBS last fall has shifted to CW for the show's second season. Luckily, fans might now be able to see "Supergirl" crossing over to other CW superhero shows like "Arrow," "The Flash," and "Legends of Tomorrow."

CW Mark Pedowitz talked about a massive crossover among the four DC Comics superheroes in the network. He said, "our annual crossover event this fall [will] be the biggest one ever." The major crossover event is set to arrive in December.

Not much has been said about the crossovers but the network did confirm that "Supergirl" and "The Flash" will most likely team up for two episodes later in the season. The show runners had given the fans a few teasers and with the recent one coming from "Arrow" star Stephen Amell who has been actively posting photos from the set of his own TV series.

Stephen Amell posted a photo on his Twitter account that sent the fans' excitement through the roof. The photo shows him in his Green Arrow costume with Supergirl on top of a building. It is unclear whether the location is at National City which is Kara's home town or Oliver's Star City.

So what else will happen on "Supergirl" season 2? A lot of speculations regarding several new characters had surfaced. It is widely believed that Maggie Sawyer, Lena Luthor, and Snapper Carr will be part of the season. It is also rumored that the pod that was about to drop on Earth last season will contain a Draxamite alien creature similar to Superman. "Supergirl" season 2 will air on Monday, October 10, 2016, on The CW. For now, if you want to see the four DC comics superheroes in CW, you can check out the second round of "Superhero Fight Club."
