"Grey's Anatomy" started its season 13 with a drama-filled storyline with an Alex-DeLuca focused plot, but episode 2 trailer and spoilers hint at another story twist involving Meredith, Riggs and Maggie.

The medical drama series' fans have been overjoyed to finally have "Grey's Anatomy" back on their TV screens and ratings for the first episode can attest to that. The season premiere centered on Alex and DeLuca's issue, where DeLuca's life was compromised. Alex lost his cool when he found DeLuca with his girlfriend in a compromising position in episode 1. Alex believes that his actions were justifiable, but in the end of the episode turned himself over to the police.

Meanwhile, Meredith is left with a love triangle dilemma as she learns that Maggie has feelings for Riggs. Things got more complicated and awkward when Maggie gets very upset with Meredith for keeping Alex's secret from her.

The synopsis for episode 2 titled "Catastrophe and the Cure" reads: "Meredith considers her loyalties, as Alex deals with the repercussions of his actions. Newlyweds Amelia and Owen host a dinner party with unlikely guests, and Jackson proposes an arrangement to help April through her recovery."

Episode 2 spoiler photos were also dropped, still showing Alex going to court with his lawyer. Meredith appears to Alex and Jo shows up as well, while DeLuca is on the opposing side with his lawyer. Sneak peeks inside the court also gave viewers a preview of DeLuca's lawyer asking to charge Alex for felony assault in the second degree, giving Alex major consequences that will change his life and cost him his job.

On a happier note, the newlyweds Owen and Amelia are throwing a party for their friends, where Meredith and Riggs seem to flirt despite the fact that she told him that she doesn't feel the same way about him as he feels about her. Maggie, whose interest for Riggs is not a secret, is there too, so this should be interesting.
