Destiny Omnigul Exploit Patch Up, Bungie Offers Alternative To Rise of Iron Level Grind?

The Destiny Omnigul exploit was one of the sure ways for players to gather loot quickly. However, Bungie has patched up the exploit on September 29.

The Omnigul patch has been in existence since late 2014. Recently a lot of players have been using it in order to take advantage of its quick loot. Basically, players can kill the Omnigul boss at much a faster pace to collect the loot. They can restart and repeat the mission as often as they want.

The Omnigul exploit involves three players working together to stop the wizard Omnigul while on his way to a final match. Her early death entitles the victorious players with loots and also allows them go back to the check point and start the ambush again.

Players of Destiny's recent expansion, Rise of Iron are experiencing a slowing down in there leveling up which is why many resorted to the Omnigul exploit. However, Destiny players are now in a quandary on how to speed up level grind now that the exploit has been closed by Bungie.

 Destiny Observers and players point out that the scarcity of Ghost and Artifact drops at the higher levels is the primary reason why player's light numbers could not advance. Blue engrams drops that contained more than 340 lights could are only available in the strike playlist. However, many players are already bored repeating the same mission over and over again. It also eats a lot of the player's time.

Bungie's Reply to Destiny Level Grind Complaint

Bungie acknowledged the level grind problem. Unfortunately the developer could not offer an immediate solution to the current dilemma. Bungie spokesperson Victoria Dollbaum said that they will find suitable light alternatives for the Ghost and Artifacts. She adds that the Destiny team plans to maximize all of the Engram's light.
