Here Are The Best Netflix Horror Movies That You Can Watch This October

The month of October ushers in the Halloween season, and horror movie buffs can definitely look forward to satiating their thirst for scares and macabre with the best Netflix  Horror films you can watch this month.

"Cujo"

A mild natured St. Bernard dog turned into a bloodthirsty killer. It may sound like a plot for a really bad horror flick. But the Stephen King-inspired movie is a surprise treat for all horror movie fans.

It may not be a "Carrie" or "The Shining," but fans of the novelist's screen adaptation should definitely give this rabid movie a go.

"Dead Snow"

Fans of the horror genre are definitely worn out from all the zombie-themed plots in media today. It has infiltrated movies, TV shows, comic books, and even literary classics. So it is no surprise that Netflix will have to give one more zombie film to swallow.

The movie is set in the snowy woods where a group of friends decided to spend a weekend of skiing and sledding. And like all of these stories, it ends with thrills, scares, and uh, Nazi Zombies.

"The Babadook"

Parenting is definitely a hard thing, but it is definitely even harder when there is a real boogeyman skulking around your house and terrorizing your child.

Fans should definitely not miss this as "Babadook" is one of those rare gems that masterfully executes the use of atmosphere and psychological terror. The film even touches the sensitive issues of single parenting and proper child care.

"Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"

First-time viewers will never look at meat pies the same ever again once they are through with this Tim Burton movie.

Johnny Depp plays a vengeful serial killing barber in one of the finest performance of his career. The movie is shot in the backdrops of Old London in dreary black and white, that is well until the bright red of blood pours in.

Horror film lovers who are into a little bit of music and cannibalistic pies should check this one out.

Be sure to catch all these spine-tingling tales at Netflix this October.
