'Sons Of Anarchy' News And Update: Travis Fimmel As Jax Teller's Father? Charlie Hunnam Not Expected To Return

Fans of Charlie Hunnam in "Sons of Anarchy" are a bit disappointed with the possibility that Jax Teller may not return in the upcoming spinoff of the series. The new season is said to be a prequel where the story will focus on Jax Teller's father. Rumor has it that Travis Fimmel is possible to play as John Teller but this will only be possible if he will leave "Vikings" Season 4.

Although there are reports that Charlie Hunnam will do a cameo in "The First 9", sources claim that this is very unlikely since the storyline is set in a time when Jax Teller doesn't exist yet. However, fans are speculating that Travis Fimmel might play as John Teller, given his striking resemblance with Hunnam. From the blue eyes, blond hair and expertise in playing bad-ass roles, fans believe there is no one better to play the role but him.

The only problem that could surface if Travis Fimmel is considered for the part is that he is currently the main star in History Channel's "Vikings" Season 4 and he may need to give up that show to be able to do "Sons of Anarchy" Prequel. Unless the speculations are true that Ragnar Lothbrok will die in the end of Season 4 which means Fimmel will be free to do "Sons of Anarchy".

"Sons of Anarchy" is about the brotherhood of an outlaw motorcycle club wherein Jackson "Jax" Teller, played by Charlie Hunnam, begins to doubt himself, the brotherhood's loyalty and redemption. It explores the topics of vigilantism, racism, and government corruption. The series has received numerous nominations including Best Actor in a Drama Series for Hunnam, Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series for Walton Goggins and an award for Rockmond Dunbar as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
