Details About Horizon: Zero Dawn's Side Quests And Activities Revealed

Horizon: Zero Dawn is an action role-playing video game published by Sony. The game's setting is an open post-apocalyptic world where humans went back to the primitive lifestyle and the world is overrun by wild animal-like robots.  The game will be released next year and recently, it was announced that aside from the main storyline, there will also be side quests and activities to accomplish which made it more challenging and exciting for the players.

Players will be playing in Aloy's point of view; Aloy is a hunter and an archer who will gain experience by fighting off the so-called robots/machines that she can also gain loots from. In these particular areas called "Corruption Zones" she will be fighting off some bigger robots, this is a must so that it'll be easier for her to explore and hunt.

Looting is a must as well so that Aloy can find useful resources in order to craft something out of it such as gears like satchels so that she can have a larger inventory.

From hunting robots, players can not only gain experience but can also use some of the machine's part to make it as a weapon or to be able to upgrade a weapon. Aloy can hunt and kill enemies by using traps, shooting enemies down with arrows, melee combat and by even using explosives.

There will also be hunting lodge representatives that can be found all over the post-apocalyptic world, these will stand as challenges that players can accept any given time to put their hunting skills to the test. An example of these challenges is when Aloy is tasked to kill a specific number of animals using a particular weapon within the given time.

Spontaneous quests will randomly appear all throughout Aloy's exploration of the world; Aloy will be able to gain upgrades and increase her stats by completing these random quests.
