One Punch Man Season 2: Will Saitama Lose Powers Over Face Off With Lord Boros?

"One Punch Man" will be back with its second season - and Saitama cannot wait any longer.

Fans, however, have to hold on to their excitement for now since there are no specific details yet as to the possible airdate for the series.

The mounting tension was further confirmed when the One Punch Man Season 2 was announced at a One Punch Man Fall Festival event late of last month.

Same announcement was also released thru the Japanese Twitter account immediately after the event.

"Today 9 / 25 held in one Pan fall Festival TV animation 'Wampanman' No. 2 stage productions have been announced. Further information on official website & Twitter publicizes." confirmed by the released tweet as translated in English.

To date, no further information about the release date of the season has been confirmed yet. Further, the number of episodes has also not been confirmed.

The studio however assured the anticipating fans that more details will be released soon.

Sources confirmed the possibility of releasing One Punch Man Season will be released by 2017. The date will be in tandem with the release of the mobile game app as confirmed by the staff.

The second season suggests a plot that is very much different from the original material. One Punch Man Season 2 aims to highlight the story of Saitama.

Reports also confirmed that One Punch Man Season 2 will feature Saitama facing many enemies including Amai Mask and Garou. Information about a possible face off with Lord Boros returning to fight with Saitama was also confirmed.

Some fans, however, have expressed their thoughts on rumors that Saitama will lose his abilities in One Punch Man Season 2. Reports said that Saitama would be weak-however this possibility may also appear to only be temporary and Saitama will gain his strength back again.

One Punch Man Season 1 featured 12 Episodes. The first season was aired in Japan from October to December 2015.

One Punch Man features Saitama, a character that fights evil with the use of his powerful punch.
