"South Park" fans might be disappointed to know that their favorite animated series will not be airing this Wednesday night. Apparently, the anticipated episode 4 has been moved on Oct. 12 instead.
According to reports, "South Park" Season 20 Episode 4 will not be airing on Comedy Central tonight due to broadcast changes. The latest episode will be moved to a later date, Oct. 12. Meanwhile, the creators have not revealed nor teased the title, synopsis and promo of the upcoming episode.
To recall, "South Park" Season 20 Episode 3 featured Cartman's mysterious disappearance on social media that led to a police investigation. Meanwhile, Gerald continues to terrorize people online under the alias Skank Hunt 42. His latest victim is the Denmark-based Olympian who ended up committing suicide. Gerald freaked out and deleted all his social media accounts that could point the blame on him.
Aside from that, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone upped their satire as last week's episode depicted the U.S. Presidential debate mischief and the war in Denmark.
Meanwhile, IGN reviewed the series following its previous episodes and concluded that it might have a better plot continuity compared to its pilot episode, "Member Berries." However, the same source pointed out that due to Parker and Stone's newfound interest on plot continuity, the remaining episodes of "South Park" Season 20 might start to show "no individual identity." Overall the animated series got a 7.2 score from the site's review.
Despite the fact that "South Park" Season 20 has only seven episodes left, the series decided to take a week long break before its fourth episode. So far, no information has been revealed as to why the series has taken a sudden break.
With the abrupt delay of "South Park" Season 20 Episode 4, fans need to wait for a few more days before they get to see the rest of the gang back in their TV screens.
